Q – We have a € 255,000 tracker mortgage on our home which ends in 18 years. Our lender and competitors have recently announced really good fixed rates, should we fix now ? With the ECB raising interest rates, we are worried it may be just the start of regular increases. My mother also left me € 80,000 in her will – should I pay off some capital at this time ?
