The start of the school year continues to be a financially stressful time for many families especially when we have already endured pandemics, cost of living increases and raging inflation. John Lowe of MoneyDoctors.ie looks at what supports are available to cash-strapped families with children going back to school next month. Every year these costs seem to increase but for those with little money, help is on hand through a means-tested once-off government grant aimed at ensuring your children will not feel left out.
