EARLY PENSION ENCASHMENT
Q. My employer pays 5% into my pension which I match. But about 13 years ago, I set up an Additional Voluntary Contribution scheme which is now worth c. € 85,000. I am now aged 50 and our only child will hopefully be going to college next September and we have no money..€ 42,000 you say to fund her 3rd level ? Is it possible to stop the AVC contributions ( € 450 monthly ) and cash this AVC now? Thanks Gerry – Glasnevin Dublin 11
