WHAT TO DO WITH MY STERLING
Q – I am thinking of converting my sterling savings into euro, as I am now living in Ireland permanently. It is currently invested in a UK Building Society since Brexit raised its ugly head over 3 years ago, I have lost a huge amount if I had to convert – the exchange rate going from 0.70 pence to just over 0.91 pence to the euro over the 5 years. With saving rates not good there and no better here, I would be grateful for your advice as to what I should do. Best Wishes Jimmy – Midleton Co Cork
