GRANDAD’S & UNCLE’S LEGACIES – ARE BOTH TAX FREE ?
Q. Can you please clarify an inheritance issue for me. My grandfather died last year and left me € 28,000 in his will. In November also last year, my uncle died and left me and my siblings € 30,000 each ( he had no family ) and I shall be getting both in the next six months when probate finally goes through.
